Yin Yang

What is Yin Yang

Yin Yang is a concept rooted in traditional Chinese philosophy, representing the balance between opposites. Yin and Yang symbolize the dualities and contrasts present in the universe. Yin expresses qualities such as darkness, passivity, coldness, and receptivity, while Yang represents activity, warmth, brightness, and assertiveness. These two symbols show an intrinsic connection and the existence of balance between them. In a spiritual context, Yin Yang represents the concepts of balance, harmony, and the inner order of the universe. Typically depicted as two half circles, one black and one white, the symbol signifies that opposites complement each other and coexist.
